Definition of this KPI:
Used to measure the frequency of workplace injuries within a specific time period. It is a crucial metric for assessing occupational health and safety performance within an organization.

This KPI will give you the injury frequency rate per 1,000,000 exposure hours.


  • This KPI can be calculated as: Injury Frequency Rate = (Number of Injuries / Total Hours Worked ) x 1,000,000 Multiplying the result by 1,000,000 helps normalize the rate for comparison purposes
